Language and Culture

THE MAIN AIM IS TO GO BEYOND THE STEREOTYPES ND INTRODUCE BOTH CONCEPTS DIFFERENTLY:

This is to develop that language as a concept has a central theoretical location related to many aspects in real world. The focus is more about to show that in any particular community, the existence of the culture is always supported by the human specific means and ways of communication.

Thus the teacher aims at giving a perception to students about the relationship between language and culture, to do so accurately, it is very crucial to draw stages or levels of relationship between some concepts in both sides: language and culture.

the main descriptions will encompasse:

  •  First language is considered closely related to culture ( the assumption of the teacher focus)
  •        Second, language and culture are viewed as widely independent phenomena considering language as a means of communication that can be used anywhere at any time and in any sphere in a way that is not connected with culture.( which is according to the teacher having a weak existence in the reality and also in theory where the majority of scholars went to prove the opposite)
  •  Third :Language and culture are partly interconnected.
